Introduction to Laboratory Research (ILR) was initially designed for the twelfth grade graduates. Most students were placed in research laboratories. In recent years ILR has expanded to accomodate students in the 10th - 12th grades. In addition, not only are students able to perform laboratory research. Students are able to work in a hospital setting and gain exposure to scientific research through projects and weekly presentations from various medical professionals.
